What is Kashat?

Kashat is the first Nano lending mobile application in Egypt, offering short term loans that start from 100 EGP up to 1500 EGP with a repayment plan up to 2 months, Kashat is licensed from the Financial Regulatory Authority.

What are the requirements to use Kashat Service?

You must be Egyptian
Your age must be 18+
Your National ID should be valid for at least 3 months.

How can I create an account on Kashat ?

1) Install Kashat app from Google play store or Huawei App Gallery
2) Agree on the terms and conditions, and needed permissions
3) Take front and back pictures of your National ID
4) Take a selfie
5) Check your ID details and complete your profile
Your account will be activated within 48 hours from signing up.

How can I borrow from kashat ?

When you download the app and create an account, we will ask you several question to know more about you and based on your answers, a loan limit will be assigned to you.Once you accept the loan amount, you will be able to withdraw it from Aman, Fawry, Etisalat Cash or Vodafone Cash.

What are the fees?

Our administrative fees ranges from 16% to 28% depending on the repayment period you choose.

How can I pay the money back to Kashat?

Payment is made in two equal installments on a monthly basis and is payable through Aman, Fawry, Etisalat cash or Vodafone Cash. You can also benefit from discount offers on administrative fees and charges if you pay the full amount within the first two weeks or the first month. All you need to do is to activate the offer through the offers section on the app.

What happens if I missed the due date?

If you missed the due date, you will be charged a late fee of EGP 3 for every week until you repay your loan amount.
Next, your credit score on Kashat will be affected and your file will be reported to Credit bureau (Iscore), and you may not be able to borrow from kashat, banks or any other financial institutions in future.
Finally, legal actions may be taken against you.

How can I withdraw the loan from Aman ?

1) Accept the loan amount within 15 minutes before the limit expires.
2) Choose Aman from the disbursements options. A disbursement voucher will be generated and valid for 3 days.
3) Visit any Aman branch / merchant and inform Aman's agent with the voucher number. He will enter it twice on the machine. Kashat is listed under the nano-finance section on the machine.
4) You will receive a pin code on the app, give it to Aman's agent to confirm the transaction.
5) Receive your Kashat and don't forget to take the receipt.

How can I transfer my loan to my Vodafone Cash wallet ?

1) Accept the loan amount and choose Vodafone Cash from the disbursement options.
2) You will receive a message confirming the amount and phone number.
3) Accept the terms and conditions
The loan will be transferred to your wallet, and you can withdraw it anytime.

How can I withdraw the loan from Fawry ?

1) Accept the loan amount within 15 minutes before the limit expires.
2) Choose Fawry from the disbursements options. A disbursement voucher will be generated and valid for 3 days.
3) Visit any Fawry branch / merchant and inform Fawry's agent with the voucher number and mobile number registered on the app. Kashat's code on the machine is 7394.
4) You will receive a pin code on the number registered on the app, give it to Fawry's agent to confirm the transaction.
5) Receive your Kashat and don't forget to take the receipt.

How can I repay the loan through Aman ?

1) Open the app and generate a repayment voucher through Aman
2) Visit any Aman branch / merchant
3) Inform Aman's agent with the voucher number. Kashat is listed under the Nano-finance section on the machine.
4) Pay the amount and take the receipt as proof of payment.

How can I repay the loan through Vodafone Cash ?

1) Open the app and choose Vodafone cash from the repayment options.
2) Enter the pin code of your wallet.
3) You will receive an SMS with a temporary pin code. Enter the pin to confirm the transaction.

How can I repay the loan through Fawry ?

1) Open the app and generate a repayment voucher through Fawry. The voucher number will be sent in an SMS on the phone numbe registered on the app.
2) Visit any Fawry branch / merchant. Repayments are done through ( Fawry Pay )
3) Inform Fawry's agent with the voucher number.
4) Pay the amount and take the receipt as proof of payment.

What is a premium customer for Kashat?

A premium customer is a customer eligible for better loan limits and pricing because they have demonstrated that they are good customers with a good history.

What are the benefits of being a premium customer ?

- Higher Limits, nearly double against each level
- Lower pricing
- Graduate faster, every next limit is higher.
- At the Highest Premium Level (i.e. Diamond), you also get EGP 50 free airtime credit!

How do you lose the Premium Status?

If a customer is late on two installments, either on the same loan or even different loans, they are demoted and Premium is revoked.

What devices do you support?

Kashat is supported on any Android Smartphone that has a back camera to take a picture of your national ID card, a front camera to take a selfie , and must operate on Android version 5 or above.

In which governorates and cities is Kashat available ?

Kashat is currently available in Cairo, Alexandria, Hurghada, PortSaid, Ismailia, Suez, Damietta, Dakahlia, Al-Gharbia, Al-Qalyoubi, Menia, Assiout, Sohag and Qena, but we're working on enhancing our app to cover more governorates in the future.

Why is the loan amount very low ? How can I increase it ?

At first, your limit will be low since you're a new Kashat customer with no historical credit transactions, but by time when you start paying back on time and building strong historical transactions, your credit score will increase and hence your loan limits will be higher.

Can I apply for a loan more than once ?

Yes, but you have to wait 3 days after repaying your previous loan to apply again.

Can I have more than one advance at the same time?

You have to repay your outstanding advance first in order to request another loan.

Why is my loan rejected ?

Our loan decisions are made by an automated system that takes into account many factors, including your loan application answers, income and payment of previous loans, we are currently working hard to be able to serve more customers in the future.

What should I do if I need a settlement letter ?

Contact us on 15022 after repaying your loan and request a settlement letter. It will be issued within a month from your request date.

What can I do if I forgot my pin or lost my phone?

Click on forget pin and you will start the process to create a new one, or contact us on 15022 For assistance.

Can I use my existing Kashat account with a new phone Device ?

Yes, you can use your existing Kashat account with a new phone. Just login on your Kashat account on your new phone and it will be automatically updated.

What should I do if I changed my phone number ?

You can change your phone number from the app , and then you'll receive a verification call on your mobile to verify your new number.

Why is the app unable to verify my phone number ?

You need to make sure that your current SIM card number is the same number you signed up with, your phone has one operating SIM card only, and the application is compatible with your mobile system.

What information does Kashat store about me in its database?

When you use Kashat, we store the following information about you in our database: - Information collected directly from you, such as your name, contact information (Address, email address, telephone number, profession, age and gender etc.) - Information collected automatically while you use Kashat such as App usage, credit history, number of transactions etc.

Why do you need all these permissions ?

Kashat is a licensed application by the Financial Regulatory Authority that offers short term loans without collateral or guarantor.Therefore, we take a lot of measurements into consideration, analyzing the information and data on your mobile helps our systems, accept, reject and assign limits to you, Kashat uses data security and encryption techniques to protect the data you share with it and it's only accessed by our systems without any human intervention.

What happens if I don’t accept the permission requests that Kashat requires?

Denying Kashat from the permissions requested will not allow you to apply for a loan. Granting Kashat the necessary requested permissions is obligatory for applying for a loan.

What is the time interval between each number change ?

- A customer can change his number only after 90 days after his last number update
- In order to change your number, you have to settle your loan, even if 90 days have passed.
- In order to have a number changed, the customer has to send a video of themselves to ensure it is the same person whose ID card was submitted.
- Once approved by the customer service, a temporary password to be sent to the customer automatically.

What are the premium levels ?

- Premium Gold

How can someone qualify for Premium Customer ?

- Take a minimum of 4 loans
- Maintain a good Kashat credit score.
- Ensure you pay back on time or earlier
- Use Kashat offers
